Biography
Peter is an Attorney at Law with a degree of Master of Laws from the University of Lund. He is specialized and well-experienced in most legal, strategic, and commercial aspects of Intellectual Property Rights and areas related thereto. He is an Authorized Swedish IP Attorney as well as an Authorized European Trade Mark and Design Attorney. He has been working with Intellectual Property Law since 1997 and he joined Valea in 2006.
Peter provides counselling and assistance all the way through our clients’ various product commercialization processes. He handles infringement disputes regarding all sorts of IP rights and he represents our clients in opposition, cancellation, and revocation proceedings. He spends a large portion of his time counseling on marketing and trade mark law and on implementing client-specific trade mark strategies by representing our clients in the protection and defense of their trade mark portfolios. He also handles clients’ technology transfer agreements and you will often find him drafting, reviewing, or negotiating various coexistence agreements,
cooperation agreements, and commercial contracts, all relating to and being necessary for the protection and commercialization of all sorts of IP rights. He is also experienced in copyright, design, counterfeit, and domain name issues.
