Biography
Lisa is a Principal of our Indonesia office, bringing over 25 years of Intellectual Property (IP) experience in Southeast Asia.
A Singapore-qualified lawyer, she joined Rouse in 2000 and throughout her tenure, has held various leadership roles, including Head of Trade Marks in Thailand and Country Manager in both the Philippines and Indonesia offices. In her current role, she is part of the global Trade Marks & Brands leadership team, focusing on client engagement.
With a strong knowledge of the IP environment in Southeast Asia and extensive experience, Lisa acts for many international high-profile brands seeking litigious and commercial IP assistance, often transcending country borders. Having lived in Japan for a few years, Lisa also acts for many Japanese companies and has been attributed for always taking their requests seriously to provide win-win solutions.
Lisa has also contributed to various INTA committee leadership roles, providing valuable insights and guidance. She has been invited to speak at lectures in Japan and INTA conferences.
In addition to her advisory work on portfolio management and IP strategies, Lisa's expertise encompasses both contentious and non-contentious IP matters, including high-profile litigation cases, advertising, licensing, and franchising.
