- Business information and evidence gathering are naturally hard in a country transitioning from dictatorship. The IP filing system is partly functional, and we are filing marks for clients to preserve future rights for the trade marks system currently under development. Enforcement is extremely difficult and we are leaders in this new area, with a number of notable early successes.
- Rouse has been instrumental in working with the government to develop the new design and trade mark laws to assist in these processes and has been active in Myanmar for the last five years. We are successfully managing the IP portfolios of over 50 clients in this country.
