Helping our client raise USD9m: 

One of the client projects best illustrating how we contributed to successful fundraising is a company active within the industry of Additive Manufacturing (AM). The company was recently founded with a primary focus on developing, marketing and selling AM equipment for metals to rapidly expand its business, seeking external capital to support its growth journey. 

The Rouse solution included identifying and evaluating all capabilities in all processes that contributed to their offering. ​This resulted in a sharp and clearly communicated competitive advantage and a list of unique assets. These assets were valuated using financial models and market data, validating their individual uniqueness and value.  

Effect: the company successfully raising USD9m at Series A and with the CEO saying that the Rouse work was critical to the success because they could effectively communicate with investors the company's key value propositions and potential value of assets and in doing so, improve the scope of their financing.

Growth often includes collaboration in various shapes and forms. Rouse helped a large company, having launched a game changing innovation to the market within the lubricants industry, to find new routes to market through the right collaboration. The client's challenge was, believe it or not, the many opportunities for growth that the market offered as a result of the big interest in the innovation in combination with increasing market demand. The client needed help in identifying, evaluating and subsequently prioritising amongst all opportunities to decide what route would be the best long term fit to enable the highest and most sustainable growth.  Rouse and the client worked together to evaluate several possible routes of collaboration with potential partners that had a good technology fit whilst also demonstrating the client’s capability to safely collaborate around R&D. 

Effect: The delivery and outcome of the project was crucial for the client in moving forward with its growth strategies for the technology and its new collaboration.
