We are delighted to welcome new Principal and European Patent Attorney, Mathias Loqvist.
Mathias has 25 years’ experience in the patent field, qualifying as a European Patent Attorney in 2004. He has extensive experience in patent drafting and prosecution but is also a seasoned practitioner in litigation, appeal and opposition cases including major patent infringement cases such as Valmet vs. Andritz and Sandvik vs. MAQ AB. In addition, he has advised clients in due diligence, IP strategies and patent valuation.
Mathias specialises in advising clients in the medical technology, energy and manufacturing technology and software industries.
Mathias joins Rouse from a Stockholm based IP law firm where he was managing partner and head of the patent department. His appointment continues Rouse’s growth and strengthening of its patent capabilities in the region following the acquisition of Valea AB in December 2022.
Mathias will be based in Rouse’s Stockholm office.
