Job Summary
This position will involve working within Thailand Dispute Resolution Team on mainly enforcement, litigation and advertising and other legal review matters, as well as with other team members in other practice groups and other offices across the Rouse Network.
Details of Responsibility
- Handle day to day conduct of individual cases and components of larger cases;
- Research, analyze, and prepare legal advice, client-facing and officer-facing documents, and court documents;
- Strategize and advise on appropriate courses of IP cases via available enforcement, litigation and other relevant routes;
- Organize and attend meetings, raid actions and training with officers, attend court hearings;
- Manage and run warning letter programs and other enforcement programs; negotiate with targets;
- Report and communicate with clients and officers;
- Supervise and train junior colleagues, investigators and enforcement colleagues;
- Assist with strategic planning and implementation of client works and business development initiatives;
- Support principal to generate more works and business development capabilities by preparing articles, presentations, pitches, etc.
Requirements to the Job
- Qualified lawyer with at least 3 years of experience in IP field;
- Fluent in spoken and written English;
- Strong communication skills with colleagues, clients, officers, and strong negotiation skills with targets;
- Strong organizational and project management skills;
- Detail-oriented, proactive & self-disciplined;
- Can work under pressure, a strong team player;
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- LL.M. from reputable overseas university, a plus
