Job Summary
This position will involve working within Thailand Dispute Resolution Team on mainly litigation, enforcement and advertising and other legal review matters, as well as with other team members in other practice groups across the Rouse Network.
Details of Responsibility
- Support day to day conduct of individual cases and components of larger cases;
- Prepare court documents and other officer-facing documents;
- Research laws and assist in preparation of legal advice;
- Attend court hearings, submit court documents, liaise with officers, monitor and report status of court cases;
- Assist in warning letter programs and other enforcement programs; negotiate with targets;
- Support other colleagues, and work with investigators and enforcement colleagues;
- Support principal to generate more works and business development capabilities by researching for and preparing articles, presentations, pitches, etc.
Requirements for the Job
- LL.B. from reputable Thai university;
- Qualified lawyer (or, if newly graduated, must be in active process of obtaining lawyer license);
- Experience in litigation works, a plus
- Working proficiency in spoken and written English;
- Good communication skills with colleagues, clients, officers, and good negotiation skills with targets;
- Strong willingness and ability to learn;
- Detail-oriented, proactive & self-disciplined;
- Can work under pressure, a strong team player;
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
