Trade Mark Specialist/ Executive/ Paralegal

We are a global Intellectual Property ("IP") consultancy with offices worldwide and is one of the leading players in the field. We are seeking individuals with an ambition to collaborate with some of the most exciting and innovative IP rights owners to unlock the potential in their brands.

An opportunity has arisen in our Hong Kong Trade Mark Portfolio Team for a Trade Mark Specialist. The successful candidate will join a fast moving, dynamic team and have the opportunity to support some of the world’s most valuable and well-known brands on the international stage.

You will have exposure to IP practice in some of the most active and challenging markets in the world, working with some of the best firms. This role is an excellent opportunity to build an in-depth knowledge in intellectual property field and to develop a long-term career in a prestige global IP consultancy.


The Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of Trade Mark portfolios across multiple jurisdictions on a day-to-day basis
  • Manage client records and data, including docketing and monitoring deadlines
  • Conduct brand clearance searches and prepare advice and risk analysis
  • Collaborate with Trade Mark agents around the world

 

Qualifications and Technical Skills:

  • Preferably 5-10 years' Trade Mark experience in a law firm or Trade Mark agency
  • Candidates with more or less experience will also be considered, the job title offered will be based on experience
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua
  • Responsible and proactive, with the ability to learn and work independently
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Experience in Hong Kong patent and registered designs matters would be advantageous

 

Working conditions

  • Location: Hong Kong
  • Salary: Negotiable, based on experience.
  • Benefits: As per company policy (e.g., performance bonus, private health and dental insurance, annual health check-up, study leave, marriage leave, loyalty leave and long service reward).
  • Working hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–6:00 pm (1-hour lunch break).
