Summary:
We are looking for a Trademark Paralegal to take part in our growing trademark practice and assist our trademark team with filing and prosecuting trademark applications with the Department of Intellectual Property. In this role, your duties will include maintaining trademark dockets, preparing trademark applications, monitoring the filing status of trademarks, and communicating with the Department of Intellectual Property.
To thrive as a Trademark Paralegal, you should excel at your administrative skills. A fit candidate must be well organized and a strong communicator. A plus would be if you possess basic knowledge of IP, preferably trademark filing and prosecution procedures. An outstanding Trademark Paralegal will be a team player whose resourcefulness translates into excellent support to the Trademark team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting attorneys in preparing new trademark applications, trademark searches, filing responses to Office Actions, appeals and submissions.
- Obtaining communications issued by the Trademark Office and maintaining working communications with trademark examiners.
- Following up with responses filed including the attending of official fees.
- Maintaining trademark files and regularly reviewing records.
Qualification:
- Thai Nationality
- Bachelor’s degree in arts or related fields (second degree in Laws or passing a law-related coursework is a plus).
- 3-5 years of experience in Law Firm.
- Fluency in reading and writing skills in Thai and English.
- Good command of MS Office, especially Words, Excel and PDF.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, collaborate with others and work under pressure.
- Be able to handle routine paperwork and working with officials.
- Hardworking, team player, self-disciplined, and self-motivated with a positive working attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to travel to the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP).
