The government is geared towards promoting sustainable green development in the country. In this report, we provide some of the highlights concerning the status of green technology development in Vietnam. We will explore the landscape of green patenting in the country, particularly in recent years. We also present trends of patent filing (for domestic and foreign applicants) for specific fields of green technology in Vietnam which service to highlight the growing alternative energy sector.
