On 11 June 2021, the CNIPA published the revised "Trade Mark Examination and Trial Standards (Draft for Comment)" ("Draft Standards") for public consultation. The Draft Standards aims to ensure the uniform application of laws and standards in all facets in order to further implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s instructions on intellectual property work, deepen the reform of "delegation, management and service" in intellectual property, optimize the innovation and business environments, adapt to revisions of the trade mark law, the implementation of the civil code and the promulgation of relevant laws and regulations.
