Biography
Palace has extensive experience in working with overseas high-tech startups and SMEs in various industries, such as cleantech, med-tech, advanced manufacturing and new materials. She has provided consultancy services ranging from market entry strategy, partnership development, deal structure and negotiation, technology transfer, fund raising, and advice on government innovation policy in China.
Prior to joining Rouse, Palace served as the Deputy General Manager of Industry Planning Department at Yitian Emerging Industry Group, providing consulting services to different regional governments in China, including attracting technology start-ups, offshore incubators and strategic planning.
From year 2011-2018, Palace was the General Manager of UCLan Tech (Shenzhen) Ltd. which is an overseas research and innovation company of the University of Central Lancashire in the UK. She established the business and led the founding team. Palace managed the access to various funded research projects by local government, promoted university cross-border research and collaboration with local industry partners, initiated talent attraction programmes from the UK and Israel for the city of Shenzhen, and set up landing programs for overseas high-tech start-ups.
