Managing Personal Data in China

Published on 23 Sep 2019 | 1 minute read

The complex, opaque and rapidly evolving regulatory environment in China presents risks when doing business.  Emerging data regulations are a major area of change.

47% of respondents in the AmCham Shanghai’s business confidence survey released in September said data localisation and other cyber security requirements were a regulatory hindrance.

If you deal with personal information from China, the changes are likely to have an impact. In our latest briefing note (which you can download below), Holly White highlights the key personal data issues.  She outlines how Rouse can help your organisation to adapt via awareness and training, data and compliance audits and risk management strategies.

Interested in R&D collaboration data?  This will be affected too.  Our most recent webinar China’s Cybersecurity Law and International R&D Collaboration explores the issues in detail.  You can still watch it on catch-up.
